Numerai Monthly: UX Improvements, Atomic Staking Progress, Agentic Adoption, CoE Updates
UX Updates & Improvements
Numerai has updated the scores page to support direct comparison between users' models and peers, alongside backend improvements powered by the new submission_scores API. NumerAPI v2.23.0 is now live, introducing expanded CryptoAPI test coverage, more efficient score querying at the model level, and improved round filtering by status.
Atomic Blockchain Staking
The transition to Atomic Blockchain Staking is underway, with all legacy stakes successfully migrated off-chain. Beginning in June, Numerai will initiate migration of the main tournament to the new staking system. USDC staking as an EVM layer 2 staking option will be introduced by July 4 of this year.
Agentic Adoption
Adoption of Numerai’s agent tooling continues to scale. Tens of thousands of MCP agent sessions have been executed to build models, upload predictions, run diagnostics, and retrieve performance data. Numerai Skills example scripts have been cloned thousands of times. A refreshed onboarding experience is also now available, designed to streamline the architecture and deployment of AI scientists.
Council of Elders & Community
Voting is now open for Numerai’s Council of Elders 2026 election cycle on NumerBay. Fourteen nominated candidates are competing for nine open seats. The Council will also host the next Decentralized AI Day in Tokyo on May 30.
